His Holiness Patriarch Kirill sends Easter greetings to the heads of non-Orthodox Christian Churches

His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’ sent Easter greetings to the heads of non-Orthodox Christian Churches which celebrate the radiant Resurrection of Christ on 5^th April 2026. Among the addressees are: Pope Leo XIV; Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; Mar Awa III, Catholicos and Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East; Aram I, Catholicos of Cilicia; Baselios Marthoma Mathews III, Catholicos of the East and Malankara Metropolitan; and Béchara Boutros Cardinal Raï, Maronite Patriarch of Antioch and All the East. The text of the message is given below.

I cordially greet you on the radiant Feast of Holy Pascha with this ancient church salutation:

CHRIST IS RISEN!

The Resurrection of our Saviour from the dead is the triumph of life over death, light over darkness, grace and righteousness over sin and lawlessness. On this chosen and holy day, we give ardent praise to God, glorified in the Trinity, for the imperishable and blessed eternity granted unto us, for, as the Holy Apostle Paul writes, as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive (1 Cor 15:22).

On this festive occasion, I wish you good health, spiritual peace and abundant help from the Lord Jesus in your further lofty service.
