Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe leads celebrations on patronal feast of parish in Malaga

On April 21, 5th Sunday of Lent, commemoration day of the Venerable Mary of Egypt, Metropolitan Nestor of Korsun and Western Europe, Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe, administrator of the Diocese of Spain and Portugal, officiated at the Divine Liturgy at the Parish of St. Mary of Egypt in Malaga, Spain.
Concelebrating with the archpastor were Priest Andrei Dolgopolov, parish rector, as well as Priest Alexei Chesnokov and Deacon Gleb Zayika.
After the dismissal, prayers of praise were said before the icon of St. Mary of Egypt – heavenly patroness of the parish.
Metropolitan Nestor delivered a homily and extended warm greetings to the clerics and parishioners on the occasion of the parish’s patronal feast, website of the Diocese of Spain and Portugal reports.
A festive repast followed.
