His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’ sent greetings to the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, His Holiness Karekin II, on his 75^th birthday.

Your Holiness, beloved Brother in Christ,

Please accept my heartfelt greetings on your 75^th jubilee.

In your youth, you devoted your life to serving God, and over the years that followed held many responsible positions within your Church, working in the sphere of education, carrying out pastoral and later episcopal ministry. Seeing your zeal in preaching the Gospel and your striving to bear fruit an hundredfold in His Vineyard, the Lord made you ruler over many things (cf. Mt 25:21) and gave you the crozier of the Primate of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

As the spiritual leader of your nation, you have made a great contribution to the revival of religious life in your homeland and in the diaspora. Your selfless service of many years as Catholicos of All Armenians has earned you deep respect throughout the Christian world.

On this memorable occasion, I wish to Your Holiness good health, spiritual joy and unceasing help from God in your further Primatial labours.
