First academic term begins at Postgraduate School

On 18 October 2010, the Ss Cyril and Methodius Postgraduate and Doctoral School of the Russian Orthodox Church began its work.

Coordination meeting for the students on the first day of the first academic term was led by the vice-rector archpriest Vladimir Shmaliy and secretary of the Academic Board A. Mramornov.

Full-time students will attend special courses, take part in the faculty's work, and study foreign languages.

Correspondence students will have distance consultations and assignments, and attend special seminars.

All postgraduate students will have their supervisors. Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, rector of the Postgraduate and Doctoral School, will affirm themes of theses by his decree after the Academic Board's approval.
