Master’s program to be launched at Church Post-Graduate School

The Academic Council of Sts Cyril and Methodius Church Post-Graduate School at its meeting on 14 April 2010, chaired by Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, decided to launch a Master’s program.

Master’s studies will be offered to graduates of seminaries and secular universities with the degree of bachelor or specialist. After graduation, students will be granted certificates of Masters of Theology after the church pattern.

It is planned to use in the Master’s course various innovative methodologies making it possible to raise the higher theological education in the Russian Orthodox Church to a qualitatively different level.
